He worked in the Interaction Design team and subsequently was appointed as Interaction Architect in the System Design team. Fredrik has a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science with emphasis on Human Work Science at Blekinge Institute of Technology.   Matthias Reik is a System Architect at UIQ with more than 10 years of C++ programming experience. He started however his programming career when he got his first PC, an 8088, in the 80s. He has ever since been interested in computers and started to appreciate all different kind of systems that are constantly around us. He believes that software development is still a very young discipline, and tries to learn and use knowledge from all other kind of areas. The UIQ Open is an application competition where mobile software development companies submit UIQ 3 applications in different categories on the UIQ Developer Program website. The competition runs from October 16th to December 31st.
