Management of UIQ Technology
Johan Sandberg
Chief Executive OfficerJohan Sandberg is the CEO of UIQ Technology since 2000. He has taken UIQ Technology from having 70 employees to more than 350 in less than eight years, and has helped our licensees bring successful UIQ-based mobile phones to the market. Before joining UIQ Technology Johan was Country Manager in Finland, as well as Head of Operations for the Nordic region, for Lotus Notes. Johan holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science.
Thomas Cronzell
Chief Financial OfficerThomas Cronzell joined UIQ Technology in September 2007. He has previously held the position as CFO for Vodafone and prior to this, he was the CFO for Boston Nordic Europe. Thomas has a Bachelor’s degree in Economics from University of Lund.
Peter Molin
Chief Technical OfficerPeter Molin started as Head of the Mobile Applications department at Ericsson Mobile Communications, and later became the first CEO of UIQ Technology. He is now responsible for the overall product strategy at UIQ Technology and is General Manager for our office in the UK. Peter has a background in both software industry and academia, holding a Licentiate of Engineering degree from Lund University, a Masters Degree from Lund University and an Engineering diploma from the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology in Lausanne.
Lotta Hauffman
EVP Human ResourcesLotta Hauffman joined UIQ Technology in May 2007 and previously held the position as HR Director at Telenor/Vodafone/Europolitan for many years. Lotta has extensive experience in management, managing teams and people in rapidly changing organizations. She holds a degree as Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Business Administration and Economics
Mats Barvesten
EVP Product Planning & Product ManagementMats Barvesten has enjoyed successful careers within mobile telecommunications, including management of strategies, business development and product- and project development. Mats joined Ericsson in 1989 and participated in creating the mobile telephone business division. At the start of Sony Ericsson he headed up Product Planning and Management of Smartphones and in 2003 Mats was asked to become Head of Portfolio Planning, a position he has held until he started as VP Product Management at UIQ Technology on 1 June, 2007.
Christina Thorman
EVP Program OfficeChristina Thorman joined UIQ Technology in 2005 as a Project manager, having previously held manager positions at Telelogic, NS-group, the National Social Insurance Board and Ericsson. She started at Ericsson Telecom in 1982 in the Installation Engineering Department, spent 2 years in Brighton UK as locally employed at Thorn Ericsson Ltd, returned to Ericsson in Sweden in 1988 and continued her career in the company until 2000. Christina has extensive experience of managing large and complex software projects and was asked to take on the role as EVP Program Office at UIQ Technology in 2008.
