Packing together internet benefits into one application, fring facilitates true consumer mobile freedom with mobile-to-mobile and mobile-to-PC file transfer, buddy contact availability indication (presence), automatic roaming in and out of WiFi hotspots and more. fringsters can even make cheap calls to landlines and regular, cellular contacts using SkypeOut/SkypeIn and hundreds of internet call services (SIP) services.
fring is PC-independent and does not require any dedicated hardware or airtime; fringsters simply need a supported device and an internet data package or free WiFi access.
